My sweet baby, Oren, turned 5 this past December 3rd...still trying to understand how we got there so fast! We had a fun little super hero themed party for him but for now I am just sharing the invite we sent out. This idea was a collaboration between Jeremy and I and some things we found on pinterest. :)

Denise, they are adorable! How do you get him to have fun while you're taking his picture? Liam stops what he's doing if I have the camera out.
Thanks Amber! I just try to be relaxed and act goofy with him. If I make it seem too important he isn't interested at all! I built up this photo shoot to him for a few days leading up to it. Talking excitedly with him about super heroes and how he was going to get to be one on the invitation he was sending his friends. Then he wanted nothing more than to do them with me. ;) When we got started I let him do any poses he wanted and be as silly as needed and here and there I would throw in "oh hey, try this!" and show him a pose and he would usually, happily give it a try. Also, just so you know, Oren pretty much hates for me to take his pictures. Even if it seems the opposite at times. I have done my fair share of bribery to get smiles, and that doesn't always work. The big thing is making sure you make it less like a session and more like you are playing. That is what I've learned works best with Oren at least. Hope that helps. :)
